The origins and customs of mindful-based practices date back a very long time. A rising corpus of scientific data is now beginning to show the benefits of meditative and yogic practice for a number of medical conditions, including anxiety, depression, mental health, and stress management.

On October 24, 2019, Gepina conducted a mindfulness, meditation and yoga workshop with one of the world’s most elite forces of defense, The U.S. Navy Seals in Portland, Oregon.

The Academy of Management Discoveries (Frayer et. al, 2016) conducted research about the United States Navy SEa, Air and Land (SEAL). This study had a goal of identifying individual and group factors that assist SEALs in honing their capacity for mindful behaviors. Even though their missions are complex and their jobs are dangerous, this train of thought is prevalent. check out the article here.
